Why Pick The Padre Elite Team to be Your Buyer Representative?

Why should you pick The Padre Elite Team, Jules Wilk, Laurie Howell, Alta Monroe, and Gayle Hood to help you find your ideal property? These are the reasons we think we are the right choice for you.

Four & one half for the price of one...Since there are four licensed agents plus an assistant on our team, we are able to provide exceptional service for you and your listing. When one of us is tied up, the other one is there to back her up. Our assistant helps us keep all the mounds of paperwork and detail in order. You may hear from several of us, Jules, Laurie, Alta, Gayle, or Grace.

Representation…The Padre Elite Team, previously just Alta Monroe & Gayle Hood, (with assistant Grace); has two additional licensed agents, Jules Wilk & Laurie Howell. They have been chosen to represent our buyers. For you, as a buyer, it means you have individual representation tailored just to you without any doubt concerning conflicts of interest.

Negotiations...Because of our years of experience in real estate, we feel our ability to help you in the negotiations is superior to trying to “wing” it on your own. We hold the CPN certification, “Certified Professional Negotiators.” These skills are important not only in securing the best deal for you, but for working the contract from the offer through closing. There are many things to negotiate such as price, repairs, closing date, possession, seller’s net proceeds, etc.

Critique All Documents...Real Estate in Texas is constantly changing. There are many addendums and notices that must accompany a purchase contract not to mention the legal requirements of the purchase contract. We make time for education to be sure we are up to date on the latest changes. When we present an offer on a property for you and get an acceptance of that offer, we not only confirm that all these documents are correctly provided but we make sure that you are protected in the best way possible.

Follow Your Deal Closely Through Closing...After we have an executed contract that is submitted to the title company, we start the process of making sure it is progressing in a timely manner. There are deadlines, such as the end of the Option Termination Period. We make sure it is observed and that they have the appraisal, inspection, and surveys ordered, if applicable.

RE/MAX Network…The Padre Elite Team is part of the RE/MAX network. RE/MAX agents average three times more production. They are offered more advanced industry education and tools than other agents. RE/MAX Associates are truly "The Real Estate Leaders" in quality customer service. Customer satisfaction is reflected in their high, industry-leading rate of repeat and referral business. RE/MAX 1st Choice in South Padre Island is no exception. Our office sold over $65,000,000. in gross sales in 2015, $60,000,000. in 2014 and $42,000,000. in 2013. Almost all of the agents in our office achieved the 100% Club Award with RE/MAX. That means we are Top Producers. The Padre Elite Team sold 65 properties for $15,000,000. in 2015, 43 properties for $15,000,000. in 2014, 41 properties for $12,000,000. in 2013 & 37 properties for $10,000,000. in 2012. When you hear agents talk about how slow it is, just know that there is an office in South Padre Island that is very busy. And, it wasn't just South Padre Island, it was Port Isabel, Laguna Vista, Bayview and the entire Laguna Madre Area.

7. Educated & Involved… Alta, Gayle, and Jules all hold designations they have acquired through eduction. These designations include CLHMS, CRS, GRI, RSPS, CPN, ePRO, SFR and RSPS. Gayle and Jules both hold the CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) designation and they are the ONLY agents in the entire valley that are members of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing. This better qualifies them to represent a luxury home buyer or seller. Laurie already holds a GRI in her first year of real estate! Providing specific representation for the buyer and the seller is a priority for this team.

Being involved in our community is important to us. Networking on a local, state, and national level makes a huge difference in how informed we are about issues in real estate. It benefits us and our clients.
